They leather feels very nice and soft. The brown is rich and close to a chocolate color, and the gold buckles have a somewhat ageold look to them. I commonly wear shoes anyplace amid size 8-9 (I ordinarily pick 8.5 to be safe), but I chose an 8 here and it fits perfectly. I’m also on the shorter side (5’3”) with wider calves, and these zip up without any problem which is great. They’re likewise well-sized for mid-calf boots for me and feel very comfortable.

Overall, I just actually love the way they look and feel – a little edgy and cool, but very wearable. I commend them.

Its construction is adequate for the purpose if you are the passenger, but not commended for the rider who needs extra shelter and control provided by the Harley “Riding” line. The semi-high heel of this boot gives it a stylish and effeminate look. The studs at the arch are visible underneath your pant leg and when sitting on the bike the logo shows too. A side zipper makes them easy to get on and off and the shaft is not so wide as to make your jeans look funny at mid-calf.

I wear an 8.5 to 9 in shoes and quintessentially buy 9 in boots; I’m glad I got the 9 in this boot as it is fits a bit closer than my other Harley riding boots. Maybe this is a divergence amid the Riding and After-Riding lines? Like all Harley brand boots, they are well constructed and the leather is high quality.

Recommended if you want a fashionable boot for passenger or street wear.

This book, is (in my modest opinon), the biggest motorcycle instruction book since the begin of motorcycle instruction books. Very clear, very precise anaologies to things that every one deals with in real life, to aid one better comprehend the art that is, motorcycling. One line that I read in the book struck me as something that I necessitated to do. “If you have not practiced riding with a bit of fear, you will panic when staged with the unexpected.” For awhile, I was riding fast, but I was not in truth frighted of riding. I was not affrighted of sharp corners or this and that, because I normally took them at speeds only somewhat above average. I did not have any fear. I need to work on riding with a bit of fear, so rather of letting the fear CONTROL me in a circumstance where I need my wits, not my reactions, I may let the fear flow through me, and use the wits.

I likewise learned with regards to steering my motorcycle more efficently. The author talked regarding how most people undertake to steer with both hands around corners, and while they believe that their helping the motorcycle, in reality, their hands are actually fighting eachother sub-conciously. I know, I did not believe it either. What Lee Parks suggested doing, was relaxing the outside hand in a corner, so it is scarcely gripping the handlebar, and to push with the inside hand ONLY to steer/lean the bike over.

HOLY CRAP! He was wholly right. I’m not talking just a little bit, makes a 1/10th of a difference. I mean he was COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY on the money. I came into a 25mph turn on a road I like to test/learn my accomplishments on, and I did as he said. I relaxed my outside hand, and at the latest point in the turn, I pushed with ONLY the inside hand, and started to turn. Only problem is, that my turning was so much more efficent, that I actually turned too much, and almost ended up as a gorgeous ornamentation on the inside guard-rail. Insane! I came up to the next tight left turn, and went a rapidly and without delay than I normally would have (fear + testing out this new found turning ability), and I ZOOMED through it, without a problem. A 25mph rated turn that I normally took at 50mph, I was competent to take at 65-70mph, just based on a new turning technique. This sh*t works people. These guys know what their talking about. And while you need to practice, I may totally see how a lot of of these books are manuals on how to get into the racing world.

Pull off this year’s motorcycle-chic look in this Georgia boot from True Religion. The leather upper has a ornamental zipper on both sides, opening up a fabric accent for a unfeigned rough-and-tumble style.
The Frye Company is the oldest without disturbance operated shoe company in the United States. Founded in 1863 by John A. Frye, a well-to-do shoemaker from England, and family-run until 1945, Frye productions have a long and illustrious history. Frye boots were worn by soldiers on both sides of America’s Civil War, soldiers in the Spanish-American war, and by Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders. Ahrendt
I was looking for numerous boots to use for riding my Motorcylce but also for something with style.
These boots are awesome! They come in a treated textured leather (like an individual handled them with a bit of sandpaper) which is cool but goes away when you give them your basi shine.
The look of the leather is just stunning and is dissimilar for just plain cow hide.
The intended roughness will come back mechanically soon with these boots as you wear them.
The leather is soft but likewise strong sufficient as you need it for a boot like this.
First I was afraid that they might stretch too much because of the “softness” of the leather but it did not happen.
I was scared the the extra Strap on the side and the buckles might be a bit too much but actually they are very cool and fit that boot perfectly.

The boot has a huge rubber sole which is good for rain and even snow and ice.
They have a soft inside foodbed so I had no difficultnesses wearing them from day one.

The basi time I wore them was on a day trip on the bike in drizzle of rain. Boots got soacked and survied just fine.

Money well spend here.

They are a very good weight for riding, and the toe is a good fit for the gear shifter (my other boots have a much thicker, rounder toe that does not give the same control). I was worried the extra straps would be too much, but I actually like them a lot more than the traditionalisti harness/engineer style. These boots are not the cushiest pair I’ve owned, and they wouldn’t be my pick for a long day of walking, but they are comfortable and I wear them out steadily with jeans when I’m not riding. I tried them out in the snow here in DC this winter, and they held up fine but did not keep my feet warm at all and they stayed cold and a little damp for days until I left them on a radiator overnight. So I guess they aren’t perfective for everything, but I’m not complaining. They are outstanding boots and unquestionably worth the investment!
